What's inside

  • Seed and Establish Pro 8kg: the seeding feed. Goes down with the seed and gets the new grass rooted and away before the cold. Covers 228 to 320m².
  • Green Shot Iron 2kg bag: the one for moss. Weakens it before you scarify and seed, so the new grass isn't fighting it.

How to use your box

Four products, one box. You can put them on together or spread them out over a few weeks, whatever suits. The one thing to watch is the two Green Shots – both carry iron, so leave a gap between applying Green Shot Iron and Green Shot Liquid Plus rather than doing them the same day. Full instructions are on each product page.

Seed & Establish Pro – Apply at 30 grams per m² for best results (the product can be applied at between 25-35g per m²). Always use a spreader, never apply by hand. Full instructions

Green Shot Iron – Mix your measured amount in a minimum of 10 litres of water per 100m² and apply evenly using a garden sprayer. Full instructions

Seaweed Lawn Booster – Apply evenly using a garden sprayer for best results — a watering can can also be used. Full instructions

Q: When should I use it?

Any time you're seeding, overseeding or laying turf. Feed and seaweed at seeding time, iron before you seed or once the new grass is established.

Q: Can I put it all on the same day?

Feed, iron and seaweed yes. But don't apply both iron products on the same day. Leave a gap of around 3-4 weeks between them. We recommend Green Shot Liquid Plus to boost the colour when you want a bit of extra sparkle, and Green Shot Iron to weaken the moss. Both will blacken the grass at higher doses.

Q: Do I apply the feed before or after seeding?

Either. Seed & Establish Pro can go down before or after seeding, overseeding or laying turf. See the product page for the detail.

Q: How much lawn does it cover?
