iGrow Carpet’s pre-seeder fertiliser is specially designed to prepare your soil and give young grass the perfect boost at the start. It releases nutrients steadily over 4 - 8 weeks, giving new lawns the essential nourishment they need to get going. Because it’s the same size and applied at the same rate as our other products, switching between feeds couldn’t be easier. Just apply before or just after sowing for strong, even results.
Our pre-seeder is ideal before sowing new seed or laying turf, supporting fast root development and even growth right from the beginning.

The application rate is 25–35 grams per m².
30 grams per m² is the recommended average — it gives a great balance of colour, growth, and coverage, while allowing for a bit of wastage or overlap around edges.
We currently offer 2.5kg and 8kg bags. Use the chart below to estimate how much fertiliser you’ll need based on your lawn size and how heavily you plan to apply it.

iGrow Spring Starter Plus is a controlled slow-release fertiliser that gives your lawn a rich, vibrant green for 8–10 weeks.
In drier springs, its coating can stretch that to up to 12 weeks. We recommend treating your lawn every 10 weeks to keep your lawn looking its best.

Hello Robbie, new lawn laid in May this year with your recommended Boston Seeds and Spring Fertiliser. It’s coming on well apart from mole damage which is still occurring despite my best efforts with Castor Oil and washing up liquid.
Appears to do exactly what it says. Now I need to know what helps keep a new lawn healthy through the Autumn and Winter.
