iGrow Carpet Green Shot Liquid Plus

An easy way to green your lawn fast.

Green Shot Liquid Plus is a soluble liquid iron containing 7% Fe, 2% N and 1.5% MgO. It works quickly, delivering a deep colour response within days of application, and because it contains a small amount of nitrogen and magnesium, it does a bit more than straight iron alone.

The science bit

Iron (7% Fe) drives chlorophyll production fast, giving you a visible colour change within days. The nitrogen (2% N) adds a gentle nutrient boost to keep the grass growing alongside the green-up. Magnesium (1.5% MgO) sits at the centre of every chlorophyll molecule, supporting lasting colour rather than just a short-term hit.

Moss

Applied before a renovation, it weakens moss, making it significantly easier to rake out. Applied afterwards, it helps suppress what's left.

Important: Keep spray away from paths, driveways and hard surfaces. If contact occurs, rinse off immediately to avoid staining.

For greening up:

  1. Check our lawn measurement tool for the correct rate
  2. Remove the filter from your sprayer to prevent blockages
  3. Mix your measured amount in a minimum of 10 litres of water per 100m² and apply evenly using a garden sprayer
  4. Avoid spraying on hard surfaces as it will stain
  5. Water in within 48 hours if no rain is forecast

To weaken moss before renovation:

  1. Check our lawn measurement tool for the correct rate
  2. Remove the filter from your sprayer to prevent blockages
  3. Mix your measured amount in a minimum of 10 litres of water per 100m² and apply evenly using a garden sprayer
  4. Avoid spraying on hard surfaces as it will stain
  5. Apply 7 to 14 days before your lawn renovation to weaken moss and make it easier to rake out, or alternatively after renovation to help suppress remaining moss

Q: How quickly will I see results?

You'll see the lawn greening within 2 to 5 days and moss blackening within days of application.

Q: Will it stain my patio or driveway?

Yes as iron will stain hard surfaces. Avoid overspray and rinse any splashes immediately.

Q: Can I use it year round?

Yes, it works in any season.

Q: How long does it last?

2 to 7 weeks depending on the time of year and how much growth there is. In winter it will last longer due to slower growth.

Q: Is it safe for kids and pets?

Yes, once watered in and dry. Grazing pets like rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off for two weeks or three cuts, whichever comes first.
