For greening up:

1. Check our lawn measurement tool for the correct rate
   
2. Remove the filter from your sprayer to prevent blockages
   
3. Mix your measured amount in a minimum of 10 litres of water per 100m² and apply evenly using a garden sprayer
   
4. Avoid spraying on hard surfaces as it will stain
   
5. Water in within 48 hours if no rain is forecast

To dehydrate moss

1. Check our lawn measurement tool for the correct rate
   
2. Remove the filter from your sprayer to prevent blockages
   
3. Mix your measured amount in a minimum of 10 litres of water per 100m² and apply evenly using a garden sprayer
   
4. Avoid spraying on hard surfaces as it will stain
   
5. Apply 7 to 14 days before your lawn renovation to weaken moss and make it easier to rake out, or alternatively after the renovation to dehydrate the moss

Standard application:

1. A 1 litre bottle treats up to 500m² at the standard rate — use our lawn measurement tool to calculate how much you need
   
2. Mix 200ml per 100m² diluted in 3 to 5 litres of water per 100m²
   
3. Apply evenly using a garden sprayer for best results — a watering can can also be used
   
4. Do not mow for 24 hours after application
   
5. Keep pets off the lawn during application and until dry
   
6. Avoid applying during extreme heat, drought or frost
   

After stress such as drought:

1. A 1 litre bottle treats up to 250m² at the higher rate — wait until the lawn has recovered and is no longer under stress before applying
   
2. Mix 400ml per 100m² diluted in 3 to 5 litres of water per 100m²
   
3. Apply evenly using a garden sprayer for best results — a watering can can also be used
   
4. Do not mow for 24 hours after application
   
5. Keep pets off the lawn during application and until dry

Q: How quickly will I see results?

You'll see the lawn greening within 2 to 5 days and moss blackening within days of application.

Q: Will it stain my patio or driveway?

Yes as iron will stain hard surfaces. Avoid overspray and rinse any splashes immediately.

Q: Can I use it year round?

Yes, it works in any season.

Q: How long does it last?

2 to 7 weeks depending on the time of year and how much growth there is. In winter it will last longer due to slower growth.

Q: Is it safe for kids and pets?

Yes, once watered in and dry. Grazing pets like rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off for two weeks or three cuts, whichever comes first.

Q: How much do I need?

A 1 litre bottle treats 250 to 500m² depending on the application rate. For regular maintenance and healthy lawns, the lower rate covers up to 500m². For stressed, patchy or nutrient deficient lawns the higher rate covers 250m². Use the higher rate if your lawn is recovering from drought, heavy use or poor soil conditions.

Once a month year round alongside your granular fertiliser programme.

Q: Will I see an instant result like the iron?

Not in the same way as seaweed works beneath the surface improving soil health and root strength, so the results build over time and make everything else you apply work better.

Yes, it's a natural product and safe once applied.
